Ruggiano Engineering assisted S.B. Collins, Inc./Jolley Associates in the redevelopment of an existing refueling station located at 70 and 90 Federal Street in St. Albans. The site design included new automobile and truck refueling stations and a new attendant booth with improved access to the property.
The redeveloped site also serves as the bulk petroleum facility for S.B. Collins where tanker trucks will load and off-load for fuel deliveries. Seven 25,000 gallon underground storage tanks were installed at the site which include unleaded gasoline, fuel oil, diesel, and kerosene. Old underground storage tanks at the site have been removed and disposed of properly.
In an effort to preserve the historic character of the site, the new attendant booth mimics the scale and architecture of the previous structure at the site.
