Ruggiano Engineering opens a new location in Morrisville, Vermont

Morrisville will have its first full-service Engineering firm in place by February 1, 2012. The firm, Ruggiano Engineering, Inc., headquartered in St. Albans, Vermont is pleased to announce the opening of its new office space, located at 21 Munson Avenue in Morrisville. This expansion will provide Lamoille County the full range of skills in-house needed to take their projects from start to finish.

"Our plans are to continue expanding our customer base while at the same time, retaining the excellent customer service and personal touch expected from a small Vermont company," Ruggiano said.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in St. Albans, Vermont, Ruggiano Engineering, Inc., is an established leader in the development and operation of the infrastructure necessary to meet a community's needs. Ruggiano Engineering acted as Morristown's engineer for the replacement of the steel truss bridge on Bridge Street (Vermont Route 100) in Morrisville, Vermont. The project was funded by municipal bond, approved by the town's taxpayers. Ruggiano prepared a design-build Request for Proposals, interviewed contractors, and assisted the town administrator and select board in selecting a design-build contractor and engineering team to replace the ailing bridge.

Ruggiano Engineering has completed numerous projects in Morrisville and other Lamoille County communities. Some of these projects include:

• Design and construction oversight for the Town of Morristown, Municipal Sewer Extension - Stafford Avenue.
• Design and permitting for a 168 acre lodging/recreational facility off Cote Hill in Morrisville.
• Civil design and permitting of a 45 unit residential project on Jersey Way in Morrisville for HA Manosh.
• Design, permitting and bidding assistance for the Belvidere Bog Road Bridge.
• The completion of the Industrial Park Feasibility Study on Route 15 for the Town of Johnson.

Other projects underway include:

• Permitting and design of a new municipal sewer pump station to service Morristown's Business Enterprise District.
• Design, permitting and bidding assistance for the Whitney Lane Bridge in Eden.
