Ruggiano Engineering, Inc. has provided a comprehensive range of civil engineering services for this 10 building, commercial planned unit development. The project is situated on a 9.91 acre parcel just south of Exit 19 on Vermont Route 104 in the Town of St. Albans, Vermont. The development, partially built out, includes a contractor/fabricator shop, dental office, professional offices, a laboratory and a bank. Services provided by REI included site and utility design, and local and State of Vermont permitting. One of the unique challenges associated with this project involved its location within the Rugg Brook watershed, categorized as impaired due to urban runoff by the State of Vermont. Our firm designed and obtained permits for a stormwater offset that intercepts and treats runoff from the adjacent Interstate 89, resulting in not only a ‘net zero’ pollution impact for this project, but also additional offset capacity for other projects in the Rugg Brook watershed.
"Ruggiano Engineering was instrumental for the successful site planning and permitting for the Union Bank in St. Albans Town"

"When Sam first came to town, I saw immediately he was smart and had ambition written all over him. What I like about Sam's office is the high energy that exudes from he and his staff. What I like about Sam as a person is he is what I would consider to be a NICE man."
